This past weekend, "Kaptain" Robbie Knievel reprised his father's famous jump at King's Island Amusement Park in Ohio (although Robbie jumped 24 trucks, in comparison to Evel's 14). Evel's jump at this location played a key part in my second book, The Dead Whisper On, which might be subtitled My Homage to Butte. Great fun to watch the video, and great fun to take a ride down memory lane...especially so, because I wasn't the one on the bike.
